Shiport China, the 6th international shipbuilding, ports and marine equipment exhibition for China, is jointly organized by China Association of the National Shipbuilding Industry, China Shipowners' Association, the Chinese Society of Naval Architects & Marine Engineers and Dalian Municipal Government.

With ten years of experience since 1998, Shiport China has grown into the largest maritime event in north China and won itself a good reputation in the world marine industry. As the flagship maritime event in the region, Shiport China has always been the focus of attention.

Shiport China 2006 attracted 360 exhibitors on an exhibition area of 15,000 square meters and more than 13,000 visitors. 14 associated seminars and academic conferences on varied topics were also hosted alongside the main exhibition. The exhibition featured Chinese marine equipment manufacturers/suppliers and the number of exhibiting companies was larger than its previous editions.

The 6th edition of the biennial event Shiport China 2008 will be taking place from October 23 to 25, 2008 at the port, industrial, trade and tourism city of Dalian, one of the attractive cities for foreign investment in northeast China. We are expecting 500 high quality exhibitors and 15,000 visitors to attend the upcoming significant international maritime event.
